Welcome to Mondays Finish the Story!
First, I would like to thank everyone for your outpouring of support, love, and well wishes regarding my health. This is added to the pool of strength and determination when I begin treatments next week.
Now let’s have some fun, shall we?
This is a unique flash fiction challenge where we provide you with a new photo each week, and the first sentence of a story. Your challenge is to finish the story using 100-150 words, not including the sentence provided. Don’t forget to use the opening sentence… This challenge runs from Monday to Sunday! Get creative and have fun finishing the story!
Please include the photo with your bit of flash and a link back to this post. Do not forget to click on the blue frog and add your link so that others can enjoy your story too! Now let’s have some fun!
Finish the story begins with: “From her small balcony, the witch watched the world go by.”
Please feel free to upload your story by clicking on the little blue frog below to add your story to the list!
Thank you for participating! I am looking forward to reading your stories and sharing them with others! Be well and stay tuned for next week’s challenge!

Had fun with the prompt. I have a problem linking though. It keeps directing to my personal work space for my blog and not the finished post.Tried several times before giving up.
Was that linking back the blue frog? What can I do to help? 🙂
I have a new laptop-Toshiba brand- I’m having trouble adjusting to the mouseless keyboard. It’s loaded with the new Windows 10. It requires much patience!!!!! went back to the frog later in the day and was able to connect. Thanks for the offer of help.
You can buy a mouse that will go into one of the USB ports that are wireless. I love mine. I think you click on shift-F3 to disable the mouse on the keyboard so that you can solely use wireless mouse. Read your story and loved it! And, you are welcome!
Thank you. That may be the answer. so do you have windows 10? ?
Yes, I do.

A bit late this week. I was having trouble with coming up with anything but, when I finally did, I came out at 101 words. It was easy to lose a word! I enjoy restricting myself to exactly 100 words.
Hope your spirits stay high and if there is anything I, or we, can do, please let me/us know. I’m sure you’ve received a lot of offers for help and a lot of well wishes. Just add me to that list! 🙂
Many thanks Emilio. You did fine on the timing as the challenge runs from M-S. Consider yourself added to the list! 🙂 Taking this one day at a time! I will survive and you, take care of you!

Barbara, when I posted my first story you sent me an email on how to link up to the comments. Please let me know if I have done it correctly. Thanks.
You did it correctly as I just approved it. Sorry it took so long, but I was back in the hospital. This round was a fiasco. Might be a good post for my regular blog. Hmmm….something to think about…B
How are you doing?
Will be doing a post on that very topic…
I hope it’s an optimistic one though I know it has to be very uncomfortable right now, to say the least.
One week of seven, so six to go. Pain still high but making it through. I think about the smiling faces of those who are farther along than I am and I know that one day soon, I will be smiling and feeling better too! Be well Emilio!
You, too. Just keep focusing on those smiling faces.
I do and they make me feel good! Thank you Emilio!
