Welcome to Mondays Finish the Story!
This is a unique flash fiction challenge where we provide you with a new photo each week, and the first sentence of a story. Your challenge is to finish the story using 100-150 words, not including the sentence provided. Don’t forget to use the opening sentence… This challenge runs from Monday to Sunday! Get creative and have fun finishing the story!
Today I need to thank Martin Furman for creating today’s opening line! Please check out his amazing site!
Please include the photo with your bit of flash and a link back to this post. Do not forget to click on the blue frog and add your link so that others can enjoy your story too! Now let’s have some fun!
Finish the story begins with: “Delphine always wanted to pilot her father’s plane and when he forgot his keys on her tenth birthday, she knew that taking off would be easy.”
Please feel free to upload your story by clicking on the little blue frog below to add your story to the list!
Thank you for participating! I am looking forward to reading your stories and sharing them with others! Be well and stay tuned for next week’s challenge!

Barb, I have been meaning to ask you, could you tell me how I get the froggy button for your grid on my story for others to read them?
I have no idea!

Your prompt just didn’t fit with the mash up…
So you got a ‘solo flight’ 🙂
Like that!
Sometimes it is just a matter of time too. I have just a tad more time in the summer. I might have to lessen my prompt load come fall. 🙂
😦 School?
I am the grandmother who babysits while mommy and daddy go to work. Mommy is a teacher.
How nice for you to be able to spend that time with the grand kids.
I’ve been doing that since the younger was about 2 & 1/2 – he starts K in the fall. So I” only have Sis this year – she just turned 2. A tad hectic when they didn’t nap at the same time 😉 Long day from about 6:30 am to 5 pm. But at least they are ‘here’.
I’m working 5 days a week… getting paid in hugs and kisses 🙂
How sweet! Be well Jules!
