Welcome to Mondays Finish the Story! Thanks go out to all who have and are participating!
This week we are undergoing a kitchen remodel, there are Dr.’s appointments, and I want to let you know that I will be doing the best I can to respond to everyone!
Are you ready for Mondays Finish the Story challenge? This is a flash fiction challenge where we provide you with a new photo each week, and the first sentence of a story. Your challenge is to finish the story using 100-150 words, not including the sentence provided. Don’t forget to use the opening sentence… Get creative and have fun finishing the story!
Please include the photo with your bit of flash and a link back to this post. Do not forget to click on the blue guy and add your link so that others can enjoy your story too!
Finish the story begins with: “Little did they know when the photographer took their picture that they would find themselves trapped in a painting.”
Please feel free to upload your story by clicking on the little blue fellow below to add your story to the list!
Thank you for participating! I am looking forward to reading your stories and sharing them with others! Be well and stay tuned for next week’s challenge!

A kitchen remodel! You are in your own private hell now… but it’s so worth it when it’s done. Love the prompt line.
Thank you Ted! Yes it is kitchen remodel hell. This morning we were slated to have our house gutters replaced. They called and will be late…10:30-11:00. Then the installer for the cabinetry called. He is worried about having the gutter people here at the same time. He was told that these folks would be late. It is now 9:45 and he has not shown up either. This is what is making it hell, folks not honoring their commitments! We cannot wait to get the house back to normal!
I am glad you like the opening sentence! Will you be writing for this challenge? 🙂

Barbara, I must have dreamed it but I thought I had put my story in the grid. I went in to see if there were any I hadn’t read yet and I had not read any of them. I am so sorry! I really did think I had done so and that I had even read most of them. It has been a crazy week. I hope I’m not too late. Sorry!
Joy, you are not late! The MFtS challenge runs from Monday to Sunday! Maybe I should make note of that? I am looking forward to what you come up with! Hugs to you my dear! Be well! ^..^
Barbara, I posted this somewhere and I am not sure where. I am sure I thought I was posting it on your challenge. Oh well, it may be put into Sunday Photo Fiction. LOL! Thank you so much for letting me know I’m not late.
🙂
Hugs to you too Barbara XOXO
